Conference Description

The biennial US-Russian Nursing Conference Cruises are unique:

Russian and US nurses participate as conference speakers, poster presenters, discussion group leaders and facilitators of clinical and educational site visits. As participants of the cruise, Russian nurses share in the sightseeing, helping those from the US and other countries see and experience Russia

American nurses will find conference sessions, sightseeing, meals and other times for informal discussion provide opportunities to network and develop relationships with their Russian colleagues.

With a Russian waterways cruise serving as the context, this conference carefully integrates:

  • Experiencing Russia, its culture and its people
  • Learning about Russian nursing, nursing education and health care delivery from and with Russian nurses and other health care providers.
  • Russian nurses will be given the opportunity to submit a grant proposal during the conference cruise for a project that will be completed after the cruise.
