The purpose of these guidelines is to provide information on the logistics of engaging in collaborative projects, particularly ones that involve the successful exchange of visits between Russians and American nurses. While multiple ideas for collaboration can be quickly identified, there are often questions of how to get started and organize an effective project for mutually beneficial outcomes. These guidelines have been developed to serve as a resource guide; the purpose of these guidelines is to provide a sense of the requirements and the practical information on the logistics of setting up collaborative endeavors between US and Russian nurses.
